Some of the team are experienced anglers and others are novices - they are all fishing for funds on behalf of the West Yorkshire Branch of MNDA. Motor Neurone Disease is currently untreatable, incurable and terminal. Living with MND, your body progressively ceases to function but most cruelly, the mind continues as sharply as ever. Talk to the experts and they'll tell you that the only common factor amongst patients is that they are all lovely people. People living with MND have to make adjustments. Their home may have to be modified, mobility scooters purchased and what about that bucket list wish of going on a holiday whilst it's still possible? That's what we're doing. We are trying to raise money for the MNDA to help those living with the illness to make what remains of their lives that bit more comfortable
