We help blind veterans to discover a life beyond sight loss

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

To raise money for Blind Veterans UK, Alfie and I will be joining thousands of others on a charity ride inspired by the 2012 Olympic Road Race - the Prudential Ride London. The 100 mile ride will take us through the closed roads of London and Surrey with a fantastic finish on the Mall in London.

It will not be easy! With leg burning hills and the longest ride I have taken on so far, I am glad I will have Alfie’s support along the way and will be very glad to see my family (and a pub!) at the end!

I joined the Blind Veterans team as a volunteer a little under a year ago, so this is a charity close to my heart. This gruelling day is nothing compared to what these veterans have been through. By donating you will be helping to raise vital funds so the charity can continue to support blind veterans across the country.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your support - Ali & Alfie  🚴‍♀️🚴
