Cavell is the charity supporting UK nurses, midwives, and nursing associates, working and retired, when they’re suffering personal or financial hardship often due to illness, disability, older age, domestic abuse and the ongoing cost of living crisis.

Story

With a team of 100 nurses, students and military personnel we are going to take on the challenge of climbing Mt Edith in Canada in Aug 2015.

This event will help to raise £3 million that will change the lives of over 3000 nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants in need and crisis whilst also commemorating the Centenary of Edith Cavell's death.

Cavell Nurses' Trust, formerly known as NurseAid, was originally set up in 1917 following the public outcry that followed the death of Edith Cavell. The charity helps nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants who may have reached rock bottom with illness, mental health and domestic abuse.
