Clomping for Charity - Your Favourite Fancy Dress Flight Attendant Is Here

Lake District Challenge 2024 · 8 June 2024 ·
Your favourite fancy dress Air Steward is clomping for charity! I'm trading in my airside clompers (those little heels some air stewards clip-clop up and down the aisle in) for walking boots this Spring and taking on the 100km Ultra Challenge. I'll be walking 100km across two days in the Lake District, equivalent to about three thousand clip-clops up and down the airplane aisle with the drinks trolly.
I'm clomping those 100km to raise money for MIND, a mental health charity offering information and support on emotional wellbeing, as well as lobbying the government and local authorities for better mental health services across the UK. We all have brains, they don't always feel great and it's nothing to feel ashamed of. I'm grateful to MIND for being a resource when I needed it with my own mental health challenges, and hope to raise £1000 to support the vital work they do.
It's a rubbish time to ask for donations. If contributing to this isn't something you can afford to do right now, the clompers and I would so appreciate it if you could share this link, or tell a friend.
(Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.)
