I have chosen to challenge myself for 2022 and run The Great North Manchester 10k for Diabetes UK. 

Type 1 Diabetes is an incurable but manageable autoimmune illness. We live day to day with multiple injections, finger pricks, pump sites, hypo symptoms, risk of coma, risk of seizure, risk of many complications. This year marks 100 years since the discovery of insulin, without it we would die.

I’m running and hopefully raising just a little bit of money to help a new discovery in the form of a cure.
