Story

Last July I turned 40.

My mother was only 40 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through some intensive treatments and lost her hair more than once. Its a battle she lost 8 years later.

I miss her greatly and often think how different life would be if she was still alive. My children (and brothers child) never had the joy of knowing her and I know she would have been the most amazing grandmother.

I've had long hair for most of my life. Its going to be a complete change for me. I'm really scared to loose it all, but interested to see how it will change how I feel about myself and how other people will see me too. I'm shitting it actually!!

But then at least I'm not having to deal with a cancer diagnosis too.

Please sponsor me! Let's find a way of beating cancer so others don't have their life cut so unfairly short.
