We provide specialist palliative care to adults with life-limiting conditions
Story
On Sunday 13 October, Alice, Corinne, Emma and Holly will be running the Oxford Half Marathon to fundraise for Katharine House Hospice. Katharine House provides specialist end of life care for residents of Banbury and surrounding parts of Oxfordshire. The hospice is much appreciated by the local community, including the Lacey family, who have both friends and family who have received kind, compassionate and much needed end of life care at Katharine House, including Alice’s dad in 2003.
This year, Katharine House is facing a £435,000 funding shortfall - the cost of providing support to all patients for just over one month. Currently around 300 local people receive care and support at any one time.
We would be hugely appreciative of any donation, however small, in helping us reach our target! We’ll make sure to update you all on our progress on the 13th. Thanks in advance for your support. Alice, Corinne, Emma and Holly xxxx
