When I - rather unbelievably - got my ballot place in the London Marathon I immediately knew I would like to use this crazy turn of events to contribute to Confident Children out of Conflict.  

CCC's vision is to provide children exposed to violence and abuse with a safe space to sleep, eat, learn and play. They also support the development of protective environments for secure reintegration of these children back into their communities. 

My father has been working in South Sudan for a number of years and has had direct contact with CCC, seeing first-hand the incredible difference it makes to vulnerable girls.

I am not a runner, so this will be a huge challenge for me! Any donation to this incredibly worthy charity, no matter how small, will help enormously in spurring me over that finish line.
