Alice Patterson is raising money for Centre 33

Donating December's pay to help homeless young people · 31 December 2020

Centre 33 was established in 1981 & supports & empowers young people, aged 8-25, through a variety of free and confidential services, which include one-to-one support, counselling, advocacy, group work and respite activities. We work on a self-referral basis and we often respond to complex needs.

Story

I have a place next September at uni and was planning to spend
my gap year volunteering. That’s been made difficult in this crazy year but I was lucky enough to get a job at B&Q in June.

So, instead of volunteering I have decided to donate my December
pay check to Centre 33 a local charity that looks after people my age that need help.

I can do this because I am fortunate enough to be looked after and I don’t have to worry about where I’m sleeping tonight. If you too have a roof over your head then maybe you can help.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
