Story

On Saturday I completed a 30 mile walk from Brighton to Eastbourne with the rest of the Ghana team! It took us twelve hours including breaks, which meant we had to be at Brighton Pier for 7am! Please donate to make all our efforts, aches, and blisters worthwhile!

A group of 15 girls from my school are travelling to Ghana for three weeks in October and have been busy fundraising since July 2013. Our aim is to raise £50,000 for the Kyabobo School for Girls in Nkwanta, Ghana. So far we have raised over £30,000.

About the charity

The Ghana Education Project works in the region of Nkwanta in North East Ghana. It seeks to promote the development of the local community through education, training and the associated infrastructure. Our pioneering Girls’ School opened in September 2013. http://www.ghanaeducationproject.org.uk/
