Virgin London Marathon 2015 · 26 April 2015 ·

Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the only national charity dedicated solely to beating pancreatic cancer through research. Survival rates are low, so new research is vital. In the past, this cancer received little attention. With your help, we can change this so more people beat pancreatic cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Dad lost his brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer in March 2011. In his memory, I decided to do the London Marathon again, this year! I'm very lucky to have been allocated a ballot place, and I've gone to watch the marathon every year since I did it in 2012, it's an amazing and very emotional event - even as a spectator. It won't be easy but I hope to raise some money for this great charity.

Thank you to everyone who has made donations in the past and those who have given our family support both throughout his illness, and during the past 4 years since he passed away. It's a nasty, and severely under-funded type of cancer and every penny helps towards their important research.

I must be mad as a box of frogs to do this again, but it's for Dad.

Love, Alice x
