On the 10th June 2023,I, along with my fellow students at Toyota (GB), will be taking  part in the Lake District Ultra Challenge - 50 kilometre hike with a climb of 1300m. We will be raising money for the amazing cause that is , the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Having worked closely with our contact at MND Association over the last year, I am proud to be dedicating my efforts to such a worthy cause. To put in to context the importance of the Association Motor Neurone Disease can affect anyone at any time and it affects up to 5,000 adults in the UK at any one time. Its a disease that attacks the nerves that control movement so muscles no longer work and sadly, is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease for which there is currently no cure.

Toyota staff voted for the MND Association to be shortlisted and were subsequently chosen for the partnership due to the Associations strong focus on mobility and wheelchair adaptation to enable more independence for people living with MND.

We are proud to be working together in our fundraising efforts; every pound counts in trying to help find a cure and care for those with this disease, and funds raised will be used towards the MND Association's Support Grant programme.
