Alice & Leanne's London to Calais Cycle Challenge

Alice & Leanne's London to Calais Cycle Challenge · 16 July 2016
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On Saturday 16th July we will be cycling 86 miles from London to the port of Dover, to board a ferry to Calais where we will spend two days volunteering in the kitchens of the refugee camp. We would really appreciate any donation you can make to support the Doctors of the World Refugee Crisis Appeal.
We have chosen to fundraise for Doctors of the World because of the essential contribution they make to people who have been displaced from their homes because of unrest and war. In the UK, we are extremely lucky to have access to healthcare services whenever we need them. Imagine you, your child, or an elderly relative being unwell and not being able to get the medical attention or medication needed. This is the reality faced by the refugees, and is made worse by the unsanitary, crowded conditions of the camps. Doctors of the World provide the medical support so desperately needed, but need funds to continue this. Please help us to contribute by making a donation to our page!
