Virgin London Marathon 2012 · 22 April 2012 ·

Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the only national charity dedicated solely to beating pancreatic cancer through research. Survival rates are low, so new research is vital. In the past, this cancer received little attention. With your help, we can change this so more people beat pancreatic cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you know, my Dad lost his brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer in March 2011. In his memory, and as a reflection of his determination, I have decided to run the London Marathon 2012. It won't be easy but I hope my efforts will encourage you to donate to this worthy cause. It will be almost exactly 13months since he died when I take part.

Thank you to everyone who has made donations and given our family support throughout his illness, it has meant a lot to all of us.

I've walked one, now let's see if I can run one...!

Love, Alice x
