Back in 2015, my Grandad sadly got diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. The past few years have been tough on all of us a family seeing someone we love so much change and go through this every day. Back in the day, Grandad use to love a good run and has completed several London Marathons in his time. I'm not quite ready for that challenge however have found myself loving running, just like he use too. I'm doing another 10K run in order to raise money and awareness of this heartbreaking illness. Hopefully the next one I take part in will at least be a half marathon ... I know Grandad is and would be so proud.
