City Hospital Tower Abseil for Friends of the Cancer Centre

Saturday 29th May 2022 will see a host of brave superheroes Take on the Tower by abseiling 190ft down the iconic yellow building at Belfast City Hospital. Each superhero will aim to raise £150 which could provide six hours of nursing care from one of the charity's specialist nurses. We know superheroes come in lots of different disguises so if dressing up isn't your thing don't worry about it, by taking part you will be a superhero to local families impacted by cancer in Northern Ireland.
It was hard to miss the work of friends of the cancer centre when at the cancer centre with Daddy for appointements or treatment. It could be the simple things you appreciate during those hours and hours waiting like a cup of tea and biscuits at each appointment or the excellent care by the nurses and staff. A charity that works to make those long, frequent and oh so important visits by its patients as comfortable as they can.
Abseiling down the side of the building isn't something that ever crossed my mind previously. To be honest I'm not quite sure how they will get me over the edge to get started but it'll happen as I know it's for a good cause and is a show of my appreciation if I can help raise funds and awareness for them.
Thank you for any contribution you can make towards this!
