Fundraising for SUFFOLK OXYGEN THERAPY CENTRE
Story
I am raising money for a local charity. Suffolk Oxygen Therapy Centre.
It’s not just a marathon it’s three….
Why.....? Because I’m mad … well yes I am but the reason is
Because they rely solely on fundraising and donations. They do dot get any government grants and they provide a valuable and very important role in not only providing oxygen treatment for sufferers with Multiple Sclerosis they provide a community and a support network for their members.
With three oxygen tanks this is the largest of its kind but it needs help, it’s local and it’s valuable to its members allowing them to carry out their normal daily routine.
Not only does the SOTC provide treatment for those suffering with MS, neurological issues, fibromyalgia. It also supports those with sports injuries, motorbike accidents etc. The treatment provides a safe and comfortable area for sufferers to heal. This was me in 2018. Following a car accident I suffered with injuries preventing me from running, with their treatment and emotional support provided I was able to complete my goals and achieve great things. I want others to be able to reach their goals and achievements.
By raising money for SOTC all the money raised will go into the centre to be able to allow them to continue to provide treatment look at better ways to offer alternative therapies and the long term goal is to look at a more suitable location to allow members a more comfortable and relaxing environment in which to be cared and treated.
