Hello, my name is Alisha Hawke and I will be running or walking 5 miles a day throughout September to reach my goal of covering 150 miles in 30 days.

I will also be taking part in the Brain Tumour Research walk of hope. 

Last year my husband Gavin was diagnosed with an incurable metastatic ependymoma of the spine, so I know all to well the devastation a brain tumour diagnosis can cause. Brain tumours are under researched due to lack of funding therefore I want to do the best I can to raise money for an incredible charity. I hope one day a cure will be found for these dreadful cancers. 

My aim is to reach £2470 which is enough to cover one full day of research, please help me reach my goal of getting there, every penny means so much!
