I am lucky enough to work for St Mary’s Hospice and see the difference my colleagues make on a daily basis to patients and their families.

It is a real privilege to in my small way join so many in our community raising funds to ensure Hospice care and so many other support services provided by St Mary’s  are free and available to anyone in our community.

On the 24th October I will set off along with 10 other amazing individuals all taking on the challenge of 12 days of walking at altitude to support our local hospice.

This will not be an easy challenge. Since hitting 50 everything has been breaking , dropping off or growing where it shouldn’t be . But ageing is a blessing.

I am walking in memory of my two beautiful college friends Donna and Louise with whom I shared many often hilarious outdoor adventures in my youth. They will be in my heart ❤️ every step of the way spurring   me on when things get tough. Thank you for your support
