Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the Great Bristol 10k in memory of my lovely friend Bryan Selwood who died last year aged 39. I want to raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) who are working to prevent sudden cardiac deaths like his through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families like Tracey and the boys. My training hasn't quite gone to plan but I'm determined to take part, especially as this is the month when Bryan should have been turning 40. Please help me raise as much money as I can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I really appreciate your support.

Thank you!
