Many will know my story... I started running (well jogging!) around 4 years ago to gain some free fitness (didn't want to join a gym). I surprised myself by completing the 'Couch to 5k' programme and then running a 5k. After that, I realised I could run to help others, and have since run 4 10k's to raise money for charity. 

It's never easy. Training is hard. Being motivated to stay the course is hard. And running on the day is hard. But knowing that it's for a worthwhile cause makes it all worth it.
