Story

Garner Ward is a 16 bedded Dementia Assessment unit based at Bodmin Hospital in Cornwall.  As part of this years #DementiaAwarenessWeek Staff from Garner Ward would like to work together to raise money to create a lovely outdoor space for the people who use the Hospital to enjoy.  We plan to use this outdoor area to commemorate those who sadly lost their lives during Covid-19.

Throughout the month of May, staff will be walking various parts of the Coast Path with an aim to reach 300 miles (the total length of the Cornish part of the South West Coast Path)

Garner Ward staff were awarded the High Sheriffs Award this year for all their hard work and care throughout the pandemic - here is a link (skip forward to 50 minutes for Garner Ward)
