Story

On 6th April 2013 my big sister very suddenly and tragically died of a undiagnosed brain tumour. Steph had been suffering from headaches, sore neck and dizzyness for a number of months and had been to the doctors on many occasions but had wrongly been told she was suffering from migrains/tension headaches. We visited the A and E department on Friday 5th April 2013 and were sent home, being told she had another migraine. My mum found her dead the next morning. We have since found out that if Steph had been properly diagnosed and the correct treatment given, up until the night before she died, she had a 98% chance of survival. Steph was 24 years old.
