Story
Currently walking round the house breaking in my new walking boots. Not convinced that they're not going to rub my protruding ankle bones. Better stock up with compede blister plasters .
Our first 2 days in Nepal will be spent working at a local hospice helping with refurbishment. Hopefully all standards of painting are acceptable as I'm not very good at decorating.
We then start the trek which will certainly test my fitness as lots of difficult ascents and descents plus we will have to contend with the altitude. No nice luxuries like flushing toilets or comfy beds (why am I doing this ?)
I am self funding the trip so all monies donated will go to the charity. Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
