Sponsored Run at Shugborough Hall, Stafford · 11 October 2009

Little Hearts Matter is a national charity offering support and information to anyone affected by the devastating diagnosis of a single ventricle heart condition, children born with half a working heart. We work to support and raise awareness of the needs of these children and their families.

Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit this site in memory of our baby son George. As you may know George was born on 1st October 2008 with a congenital heart condition. Despite the best efforts of the Cardiac Surgical Team at Birmingham Children Hospital, he sadly died on 10th October 2008.

On 11th October this year we will both be completing the "On your Marks for Little Hearts" Sponsored Run which is taking place at Shugborogh Hall, Staffordshire. Over 400 runners will be taking part to raise money for the "Little Hearts Matter" charity which raises money to support children born with congenital heart problems like George's.

Any donation you make will be greatly appreciated so thank you very much in advance for your kindness.

Thanks

Michael and Alison Henry.
