William Drummond is the acute stroke Unit at St Georges Hospital, Tooting. It provides urgent treatment and essential rehabilitation for approximately 2000 patients per year. Since this recent Pandemic we realise even more the importance of being able to get outside.
We currently have a large, unused balcony which we cannot use safely.
Our dream is to create a tranquil environment for reflection and therapy to aid recovery and promote wellbeing. We aim to create a wheelchair and bed friendly garden of aesthetic and fragrant plants to enjoy. We need your help to make our dream a reality and give our patients the environment they deserve.
To raise money for this our Ward Manager, who is terrified of heights, did and skydive! Also a staff nurse from the ward has created a video to highlight the importance of this cause.

Now onto our next project, we are gathering prizes for the St Georges Hospital Charity, Christmas auction - Bid for Georges. All the money raised for prizes that specify William Drummond will go straight to this cause.
