My dear husband, Kev, has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called a GIST - gastro-intestinal stromal tumour which affects the supporting tissue of the bowel or stomach,  in Kevs case, his stomach.

Last week Kev started 3 years of Chemo to shrink his growth saving the majority of his stomach. His chemo tablets are used to treat some types of leukaemia, blood disorders  and GISTs.

As we collected Kevs first Chemo tablets, we were offered refreshments at the hospital ward cafe run by ELF, where I noticed the May ELF Skydive. They don't call me Crazy Ali for no reason! I'm ready for the 15000ft challenge, to enjoy the adrenaline thrill as well as raising money for this amazing charity who supports families in all aspects of their medical challenges just when they need it most.
