Alison, Julian and Lily's 2.6 Challenge

The 2.6 Challenge · 26 April 2020 ·
The London marathon has been cancelled, so we're running a marathon from home, over a week. Our supporters have been SO amazing that we raised our game - we ran and walked *2.6* marathons - 60 miles - over a week! This challenged Lily and me especially as I'm working full-time and Lily's studying for finalls.
And big thanks to everyone who has supported our challenge and shown your support for London's precious rivers!
Give if you can, but if you can't - enjoy a peaceful walk along one of London's lovely rivers!
London's rivers need us now more than ever. They are a godsend at the moment, providing us with beautiful, tranquil green/blue spaces to spend time, especially badly-needed during the COVID-19 crisis. Did you know that they provide vital habitat for wildlife and are key to combating the effects of climate change? But London's rivers suffer from plastic, sewage and other forms of pollution. Thames21 is a charity that works with people to restore London's rivers but like most charities its revenues have been hard hit by the crisis. Help us to help Thames21 continue its vital work and save London's rivers!
