HELLO, and WELCOME to my page!! 

I am taking part in the National 3 Peaks challenge on 19th/20th June 2021. This involves walking up all three of the UK's mountains (Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon) all within 24 hours! The walk is done within 24 consecutive hours through the day and night, and is a total of 36km with an ascent of over 3000m! 

And to top it off, I will be dressed as a fairy the whole way! That right... wings, tutu, wand, tiara... the whole works! 

As many people know, cardio is NOT my strong point in life, so this willl be a massive challenge for me and will push me way out of my comfort zone. I am training now ahead of the event and would love to raise £2000 for Samaritans. 

I have been an active listening volunteer at the Manchester Samaritans branch for over 6 months now, and honestly, can't even begin to explain what an amazing service this charity provides to its callers. We offer a confidential, non-judgemental, safe space for our callers to talk about their worries, life problem/stresses, mental health concerns and their suicidal feelings. I have heard first hand how much the service is a critical lifeline to so many people, and the charity relies solely on donations to keep running its 24 hour service, so anything you can spare would be much appreciated!
