My sight loss journey started in 2007. It has been a journey with the scars of 13 procedures all to prevent Glaucoma from taking my sight. In the time of my annual eye checkup, I had lost most of the vision in my left eye. Had I not booked my routine check up, I might have lost all of it. I will forever battle with Glaucoma but knowing I am receiving the best care possible through Moorfields Eye Hospital. Everyday my blurry vision reminds me to fight harder because life can still be creative and beautiful. 

I often talk about Glaucoma via my social media channels because my work gives me a great platform to spread the word. If my story can inspire one person to have their eyes checked regularly it may be prevent them from going blind too.
