Hi, we're Alison and Vicky and earlier on this year our Gran, Alice, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia.

When we were growing up Gran used to look after us every day before and after school, and extra during the holidays. I'm sure she wishes she had taught us both to be a little more tidy - but she did teach us much better things. Things like being good people, looking after our friends and family and most importantly how to cheat at cards. As someone who's husband died when she was young she's successfully managed to love and look after 4 children, 4 grandchildren and now 4 great grandchildren. Now we want to live by her example as the strongest woman we know and look after her, and help others that are dealing with Alzheimer's.
