Story

Alison Hartley closed her eyes for the last time on Friday 24th January, at 23:23, aged 52. She was surrounded by her family and fought until the end, but was not in any pain or discomfort.

Many people have asked about making a donation to a charity in memory of Alison, so we have set this up for Maggies Cancer Support Centre at Nottingham City Hospital, it was Alisons safe place which gave her so much support over the last 3 years, and supported the whole family during the same time but also in the coming months and years.

Alison’s funeral will be on Monday 10th February, 3.30pm at Bramcote Crematorium followed by a Celebration of Life at Mellish Rugby Club, Mapperly Plains.

No flowers. No black to be worn. Donations to Maggies.

If you can’t make the actual funeral, you are welcome to join us at the rugby club to celebrate her life.
