On the 12th October I will be running 26.2 miles in my first marathon.

It's been a hard few months of early mornings, late nights, sacrifice and determination to ensure I am fit and ready for my biggest challenge yet.

Over the months as I have been training, I have always had a very special person in my head pushing me on and telling me not to give in... My Gran. Throughout her life she showed me strength, courage and made me realise that anything is possible. Sadly she passed away earlier this year very suddenly and unexpectedly of a heart condition. I want to dedicate this to her and raise as much money as I can for the BHF so that they can continue with groundbreaking research to help people like my Gran. I know she will be with me from start to finish on race day but I ask you to give what you can to keep all those hearts beating...
