Story
Maurice died from Idiosyncratic Pulmonary Fibrosis (which greatly reduced his lung capacity and made him very breathless) and Pneumonia. He passed away very peacefully on the morning of Tuesday 19 April just after having his first cup of tea for the day. He is survived by his wife, Mavis, his two sons, Alistair and Andrew, and his grandchildren Matthew, Lizzie, Ross, Cosmo, Katy and Fynn.
Maurice had a very full life spending much of his time travelling across his beloved France in his much loved Honda CR-V, and laying down fine French wines which we will now use to toast his memory.
His condition was similar to Cystic Fibrosis which affects young people, including several good friends of ours, so we have decided to choose the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to receive any financial tribute his friends would like to make.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you on behalf of Maurice and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Mavis, Alistair, Andrew and all the family
