I’m running the GNR for 4Louis as a thank you for all they did for us. The 4Louis charity provides support in many difference ways for families devastated by baby loss. One aspect of their support comes in the form of keepsake memory boxes. These help to provide some comfort to families to create memories with their baby whose time in this world was so short lived.

Over the years as a Midwife, Ali has supported families during these dark times and has witnessed the positive impact these memory boxes can have.

On the 4^th October 2017 at 4 months pregnant we lost our daughter Elodie who was born still. Our amazing midwife brought us a memory box. Within this time of grieving the comfort we have gained from the 4Louis box cannot be explained fully in words. The day we came home and unpacked it, to hold prints of our daughters tiny hands, to have a matching teddy to hold when our hands were empty and to have a certificate to acknowledge her short existence in this world are immeasurable.

It costs £30 to produce one of these boxes which families can treasure forever. These are donated free of charge to all hospitals across the country. Because of the support we have had and continue to have from 4Louis hope you can join us in raising money for this amazing cause in memory of our daughter Elodie.
