The first river charity to be established in Scotland we work as guardians of the Water of Leith, raising the profile of this key environmental asset, educating and inspiring people to enjoy the Water of Leith and promote community action to help the river and its wildlife.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have visited the Water of Leith walkway since childhood and I know how important Edinburgh's river is to both its people and its wildlife. Thanks to the amazing work of the Water of Leith Conservation Trust, the animal and plant life along its banks is thriving and the walkway is enjoyed by thousands of visitors every week. My 8 year-old labradoodle, Tula, will be joining me along the way to highlight the importance of picking up after your dog. Enjoying Edinburgh's greenspaces responsibly is easy and dog poo bags can cost less than £1 per month.

Thank you for your donation
