The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Hi everyone.  In a mad, and not quite so busy, moment I decided to enter the Paris to Hayling charity cycle event.  Having started some training, my body is beginning to argue with my brain.  However, apart from getting fit, I am hoping to raise money for a very good cause.

It's a sorry state that there are hundreds of charities to choose from.  However I decided on the National Autistic Society as very good friends of mine have a slightly autistic son and I was touched by how hard they recently fought (and the costs involved) to ensure their son went to a school where autism is recognised and dealt with.  Their son, Alexander, is extremely happy in his new school and is progressing well.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Autistic Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.  Ali xx
