AKF(UK) contributes significantly to AKDN programmes and institutions across Africa, Asia and Europe. AKF(UK) supports a variety of development initiatives across several sectors including: agriculture, civil society, culture, disaster preparedness, education, energy, health, and microfinance.

Story

We are the AKF (UK) Tigers! Welcome and thank you for visiting our fundraising page!  Just by clicking on this link you have taken the first step towards making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged communities in India, the Kyrgyz Republic and Madagascar!

On Sunday 19th July, we ALL successfully walked 10 km at the Partnership Walk & Run 2009 (www.partnershipsinaction.org.uk)  at Regent’s Park for 3 AKF (UK) projects: an  Environmental Health Improvement Programme in Early Childhood Education Programme in the  and a Rice Farming Yield Improvement Programme in     

Even though the event is over it isn't too late to sponsor us! All funds raised will directly support these 3 AKF projects. Any donation – large or small – will help AKF to continue its fantastic work. Every penny counts!
