HCF has launched the Coronavirus Disaster Relief Fund for Hertfordshire to help small charities and community organisations support elderly and vulnerable people hit by the social and economic impact of the coronavirus.

Story

As many of you know I have spent the last 14 weeks training for Manchester marathon which is sadly no longer going ahead.

In these difficult times I try to remind myself of those who have it the hardest, people who have to self-isolate at home with abusive partners or parents, those with depression, anxiety, OCD or eating disorders struggling to cope with the uncertainty, those who have lost loved ones to COVID-19 and so many others whose lives have been turned upside down by it all.

It is for this reason that I have decided to put my newly developed gigantic quad muscles to good use and run the full 26.2 miles as planned on April 5th for Corona virus relief.

During hard times the best thing we can do is help those less fortunate than ourselves. So please donate what you can, share this page, or just do what you can to support others struggling.
