Michael Roberts, or Sav (on account of curly hair), was one of those people who had time for anyone, he was friendly, charming, someone you could trust and above all else he made you feel like you'd known him forever, even if you'd only just met him.

Michael always had a lot of time for those around him, he would often ask how you were, or if there was anything he could do, he was that type of person. On 4th April 2021 Michael committed suicide having been through an incredibly tough period of his life, leaving his family and friends with a lot of questions about the man they all loved.

In support of CALM, we've long wanted to have the chance to celebrate Michael's varied and exciting life, he loved to challenge himself and threw himself head first into many things. So this charity match is a chance to celebrate him, playing football (which was one of the things he loved) with friends and family in attendance at Ascot United FC on Saturday 28th May.

The match will be between a Wycliffe Wanderers XI and a Michael Roberts XI, made of friends, family and former Wycliffe teammates of Michael's, there will be lots to do on the day as well for everyone there.
