Greetings friends and family from gorgeous George, the Wood Group Team Awesome(ness) walk mascot!

Me and 15 of my friends (both canine and human) are going for a wee wander in Hazelhead Park on 13th September to raise cash to find a cure for the chronic life-threatening, type 1 diabetes. We would love if you could join us for the jaunt on the day as I love treats, Audrey may get lost and the more the merrier ... go on, go on, go on, go on....

The science bit: Approx 350,000 humans in the UK alone have type 1 diabetes; 25,000 are lil children. It's increasing by 4% each year with the majority of cases representing children under 5.

Last year our team of 8 raised £ £1,745.00 so we hope that reaching our target of £3,000 will be a walk in the park ...
