Story

I'm taking part in the Positively Parkinson's Swim Challenge! Parkinsons Disease is a progressive neurological condition which involves the loss of dopamine producing cells in the brain which controls movement and makes day-to-day activities difcult. Parkinsons is largely controlled through medication and whilst currently there is not a cure, The Cure Parkinson's Trust, a leading Parkinson's medical research charity, is totally committed to slowing, halting and reversing the condition. To compliment medication, exercise plays a key part in an individuals management plan which engenders determination and a positive attitude to live the best life they can, through being active, condent, empowered and positive. That's why I'm taking on the challenge. Thank you for your support.
