Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page which is in memory of our dad Allan David Knibbs who passed away on the 12th December 2020.

We are raising funds for the British Lung Foundation in memory of our dad who was diagnosed with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) 9 years ago and for which unfortunately there is no cure. We hope to raise awareness of this terrible disease which greatly impacted and debilitated our dad in his latter years. 

Through awareness and early diagnosis there are lots of treatments available to help individuals manage their condition, improve symptoms and help them to live an active life with the support of the British Lung Foundation. We believe dad would have approved of the request for friends to donate to this good cause rather than spend money on flowers and cards.
