For those that know me, I attempt to do 'good deeds' and enjoy life to the fullest.

I became aware of Scope, a charity assisting individuals afflicted with Cerebral Palsy.

Over the last two (2) years, I have climbed the tallest Mountain in north Africa, cycled from Budapest to Vienna with my older son and trekked the Sahara Desert with my younger son. I did all this to benefit Scope, assist in their worthy fundraising, and enjoy adventures of a lifetime.

Now, I will be joining Scope on another adventure of a lifetime. In january of 2009 I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro  (the "Roof of Africa") , the highest free-standing mountain in the world (at 5,895m, almost 20,000 feet), and help raise much-needed funds for Scope's work with disabled people.

Rising sheer from the Savannah Plains, this snow-capped mountain is an almost perfectly formed volcano that is not yet extinct.

After conquering Mount Kilimanjaro  I will continue to be engaging in Adventures the object of which is to continue to raise money for Scope.

All - ALL - money raised will go directly to Scope!!

To date, I have raised thousands of dollars and myself contributed thousands and thousands of dollars on behalf of this wonderful charity.
