Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The 3 pistes cycle is now complete, but it is not too late to donate!
I made a 6 minute video to try to capture the route and many of the riders. If you like the video please consider a small contribution to a great cause... The video is here: http://youtu.be/YpIIDjIpqkM
Whether you support the UK's military campaigns or not, please remember that our servicemen and women are just bravely doing their duty.
Help for Heroes' mission is to deliver an enduring national network of support for our wounded and their families. They inspire and enable those who have made sacrifices on our behalf to achieve their full potential.
The middle east campaigns may be nearly over, but for those who have suffered life-changing injuries, their battles are just beginning. Help for Heroes will not let them fight these battles alone.
This charity is personally important to me because I have served in the armed forces myself (during quieter times I hasten to add). I know that there is almost no other job like it, you don't just work to live, you dedicate your life to serving your country and all who live there. I also know from experience how difficult it can be to resettle back into civilian life. I can only imagine how much more difficult that must be with a life-changing injury.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Ok, so i'll be spending a day doing my favourite pastime, on my favourite road bike, through my favourite national park ...but this event is a real challenge

My preparation is already well under way and you can follow my progress on my Strava page. The event is on Sunday 1st June and I will upload the ride there too.
