Story

*****WE NOW HAVE ADDITIONAL PARTICIPANTS! Connie, Liz, Laura, Marion and James are now doing the August 4th abseil!*****

On August 4th 2019 Chris Gard and myself will be completing an abseil down the ArcelorMittal Orbit in London in memory of Charlie Gard and what would have been his 3rd birthday.

On July 29th 2019 the Charlie Gard Foundation announced their first major research project looking into viable treatments for mitochondrial sufferers. The funds raised from our abseil will be going directly into our research fund to allow us to plan more projects and create a brighter, mito future.

To make things more challenging, we're also completing a second abseil on August 17th at the British Airways i360 in Brighton. We wanted to do something that bit more challenging in Charlie's name, and raising funds for research into viable treatments is the most precious gift we can offer.

Please help us to continue the amazing work we've started in Charlie's name, and help us give him the best birthday present possible.
