Hi folks thank you for coming to my page ,as I am about to become officially old I thought I would do something to mark it .I have never swam anywhere near this distance but 6 miles at 60 had a nice ring to it and I am training hard. The charity I have chosen is Edwards trust a wonderful organization that works so hard with families dealing with the bereavement of parents, children and premature loss They get no government funding and after the last 2 years donations have obviously been hit hard and the need for their services  have greatly increased so anything you can give will be so important and do so much good in incredibly difficult times.
