Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

April 4th 2018 myself and my husband Rob lost our baby boy Charlie due to pprom.

Pprom (Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes) affects 3% of pregnancies at any stage of labour. Unfortunately at 17 weeks 1 day our perfect little man wasn't able to survive labour.

We spent four days on The Laurel Ward and the care and love we recieved was first class. My husband was looked after, given a bed and fed. I was looked after and our baby Charlie was always referred to just that...a baby. The women and men we saw were so so kind and we would like to give back.

Anyone that knows me knows I would do anything for anybody, so now I'm asking please do this for me, for us. We would like to raise money so that the ward can continue to provide and care for other couples just like us.

All of this is for Charlie to continue his memory and find the goodness from this truly awful time.

If you would like to know more about mine and my husband's journey you can read about it here: https://onegrievingmamma.wordpress.com/

Thank you for reading and stopping by. Even if you cannot afford to donate just share the page to raise awareness. We are grateful for anything however big or small you can part with.

Thank you,

Love,

Rob, Katie and baby Charlie 💙💙
