I lost both my mum ,sister and dad to cancer . My amazing sister Liz received so much support from Macmillan over the last 10 years having had breast cancer twice plus lots of other cancers all over (she died in February 2023 ) that I wanted to raise money for them . My mum inspired my interest in family history so it is fitting that I raised funds through my genealogy hobby.

Since Liz,s death I have retaught myself to sew and am starting to sell upcycled bags etc from charity shop fabrics
