Join Allia’s community team to run the Cambridge half marathon – in your own time, logging your miles over the month of March!

We’re missing everyone at the Allia Future Business centre, and like us, we’re sure you’re probably going for walks regularly (as there’s not much else to do right now!). So we thought we would try to get people together virtually for a safe, fun March – while clocking up a few miles when we’re walking or running.

It will take place over March 2021, but the key difference is you can log up your miles over any number or runs or walks during the month (tracking them on your phone). Or you can run it in one go, it’s up to you.

For the serious runners, there are categories such as most KM run or fastest Half Marathon. If you don’t complete a half marathon over the month (13.1 miles) it’s fine, but if you do…  it will automatically put you onto the leader board!

This year we’re looking for people to join our team, Allia Community (Fryer), so that we can compete together, have some fun, get fit and maybe win! We invite the whole Allia community; colleagues, tenants, ventures, friends and their families to get involved to help us raise money for Cambridge Cyrenians, a local charity helping to tackle homelessness. Run a little, or run a lot – it all counts towards our total! Don’t run but want to take part? No worries! You can get your walking shoes on and walk the virtual marathon. Runs and walks (as long as they are over 100m) will count to the total.
